About ProveMines

Built to solve a specific problem.

Mining operational data is scattered, inconsistent, and impossible to compare across companies without enormous manual effort. Every mining company reports differently. They use different units, different cost methodologies, different reporting periods, and different definitions for the same metrics. An analyst trying to compare AISC across 65 gold producers has to read hundreds of PDFs, normalize units, track definition changes, and manually verify every number.

ProveMines was built by mining analysts who got tired of doing this work by hand. We read the reports. We extract the numbers. We normalize the units. We track when definitions change. And we link every single data point back to its source document so you can verify it yourself.

What We Are

A specialized operational data layer for the mining industry. We focus on producers — companies that are actually mining and reporting operational metrics. We focus on change over time — how production, costs, and efficiency move from year to year. And we focus on proof — every number can be traced back to the page of the report it came from.

What We Are Not

  • Not a terminal. We don't have real-time prices, news feeds, or trading data.
  • Not a news service. We don't cover press releases, M&A rumors, or management commentary.
  • Not a financial database. We don't track revenue, EPS, or balance sheet items.
  • Not an explorer tracker. We cover producing mines with reported operational data.

“Every number sourced. Every change proven.”

That's not a marketing line. It's our standard. If we can't source it from a primary document, it doesn't go in the dataset.
