When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe, and we store only your subscription status — we do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use a single authentication cookie to keep you logged in across sessions. This cookie is essential for the service to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used solely for account authentication and essential service communications (such as password resets). We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only exception is Stripe for payment processing, which operates under its own privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
7. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Authentication tokens are signed with JWT. All connections use HTTPS in production.
